The construction of a catapultEach project begins with a plan. Or at the very least a pile of sketches that detail how the machien will go together and actually function. One thing a catapult operator does not like is suprises when he pulls the trigger line. These are invariably bad things.
Once a desgin is settled on the materials are priced and quates gained for any specialist work such as enginerring. The the single most important part, the fund raising. 22AD has been exceedingly fortunate over the last 8 years to have a number of generous and loyal supporters who regularly fund our projects. The next thing you know (two years after designing the project) you're in front of 5,000 people testing your nerves by pulling the string and letting 100kg of counterweight demonstrate some physics for the mob. |
